I started using this site a few months ago to try out a different online dating service, and I had pretty good success. At first I was a little wary because of the negative reviews out there, but I had a good experience. Mingle2 must have made a lot of improvements recently. Although I didn't meet the "right one" off of there, I had a few dates that went pretty well.

Guys, everything is easy. Just read Terms and Conditions on the site and you will know for sure what you are charged for. I didn't have any questions myself as to the site costing too much… however I couldn't find a girl either. Didn't work for me but Im hoping i do find one i like here soon.

DO NOT ENTER THIS SITE MORE THAN 70% OF THE PROFILES ARE FALSE. The photos are real people, but the people who answer the messages are people of the site itself. It's a farce set up by the site itself. I have proof of 2 profiles that I went to look for to find out. Orlando, 32 and Vitaliy, 50, these I am 100% sure are false. And I know that like their profiles there are many others, all false.

Great thing about the site is it is now free and depends on advertising (though not completely 100% free). However, scammers are found on this site e.g. Translation scam agencies have been known to post fake pictures of women so that men who correspond with the "lady" must later on pay the translation agency to correspond with the "lady" who may in fact not be real at all. You might have to go through a lot of sifting to get to a real person on the site. There are also army mail scammers (and other scammers) who send army mail scams to one's mailbox.

Metrodate is a breeding ground for scammers. In my experience, it's only a matter of time before any of the women ask for or demand money. It's obvious that they have no shame, conscience, morals or culture. Many of them run scamming as a business alternative to getting a real job. They think that all men should support any or all females and get very upset and abusive when you refuse to pay. They really go off into a tirade of intimidation to try and make you feel guilty and unreasonable. I'm not impressed with such low life people.

There are many cheaters here. The photos are stolen from other people. There was one who had faked a passport. If the relationship goes well, they ask for money.
