Although I think this site is a good idea, it is poorly executed, and there are only two other users in my state besides me. Since most users of this site appear to be from Europe, living there would definitely be a better experience.

Scam! Fake profiles. All they do is to tie you to their website where any kind of communication will cost you a fortune. Unless you want your heart to get chopped up in really tiny pieces... ...avoid this site.

I'm a Marine Corps officer, and my second tour will begin in two weeks. I remember my first tour in Syria. This site is a total scam. Yes, the guys appear to be nice and gentle — then WHAM they give you some sob story and ask for you to sponsor them to bring them home to see you because they are deployed for like two years but can get a pass if you pay their way home. Ladies, please beware.

Military Cupid has an easy and simple signup process. I was only asked for a valid email address and a password. You can also sign up through Facebook. Signing up via Facebook will automatically use the basic information provided in your FB account and access your photos. I used my email address and it didn't take long. After entering my email address and desired password, I was directly asked to upload my profile photo. Everything you can do for free!
